March 2026

Updates

March has been busy for Brown 2026. The Class of 1976 oral history project has conducted fifteen interviews so far, including nine in March, and we look forward to sharing more about this project on Commencement and Reunion weekend.

Brown 2026 sponsored events have included Shirley Chisholm and American Democracy with the Africana Studies Department; Broadband to Ballot with the Computer Science Department; and Visualizing the Age of Revolutions with Brown University Libraries. This Friday, April 3, Brown 2026 is partnering with Discovery Through Dialogue to host the first Cross Talk: A Whole Campus, Distinct Disciplines Approach. Moderated by Seth Rockman, the topic for this first Cross Talk – which was rescheduled from the blizzard on February 27 – is Labor. Please join us by registering to attend on Friday, April 3, at 5pm, at the JCB or register to attend virtually. Finally, stay tuned for Brown 2026 courses for fall 2026, as well as upcoming programs and opportunities on our website.
